In order to assist in the preservation of the species
and help in the replacement of trees that have been logged in the past, work
is going on that aims to better understand the germination, soil and growing
conditions required for sub-tropical species such as, Jacarandá do Rio
(Rio rosewood) and Indian rosewood.
